Motorcycle Basic Handling Skills
To gain your learner motorcycle licence you must pass a Basic Handling Skills test. Basic Handling Skills packages are undertaken at the Coast Community Church car park, 57 Hinemoa Street, Paraparaumu. Motorcycle hire, and all necessary safety equipment is provided in the package price.CBTA restricted and full training and testing

Do you need a bike for CBTA restricted or full licence training and test? Do you want to see what a 500cc bike is like after your Basic Handling Skills Test? This very clean and easy to ride 2015 LAMS compliant bike (with ABS) is available to hire at $150 per day (9am – 5pm or any part thereof), or $50 when hired in conjunction with a CBTA training and test package booked through Rightway.
Absolutely. We regularly work with complete beginners and will guide you through every step, starting with the basics. Our one-on-one training is designed to build your confidence from the ground up at your own pace.
Yes, you can reschedule or cancel your booking, but please give us as much notice as possible. We require payment at least one week in advance, so early communication helps us accommodate changes and manage bookings fairly.
CBTA (Competency-Based Training and Assessment) is an alternative to the standard restricted and full licence tests. It allows you to progress through the licence stages without doing the traditional tests at a licensing agent, and it often results in better preparation and shorter wait times between stages.
